Raw Blending

I've had a go at a couple of Photo editing tutorials. Editing RAW photos to give a much smoother image, and less radical than HDR.

This is perhaps one of my favourite photos ever. The original was lacking in awesome, but I soon fixed that.

More to come.

Thanks for looking.

Haysden's Aquatic Birds

I took a wee trip to Haysden Lakes in Tonbridge to try and capture some more Ducks going about their Duck like business, and came across Geese, and Swans, so I decided to share them all with you.

I know little to nothing about the birds here, apart from apparently some of them are Canadian Geese.

Oh, and the Squirrel isn't a bird. Nor is the Sign. Nor the bench...

Don't worry, it's tucked it up, it's not been lopped off.

I'm not posting this picture for love of it's quality, focus, colours, exposure, but merely because...Look It's Flying!

I am really pleased with how this particular aquatic bird came out.

This was a kodak moment.

Ducks, and other mishaps.

During a visit to a friend's house, it was decided the little ducklings down the pond needed to have their photos taken. So off we ventured to get these photos taken.

As a side note during our visit we saw an old man asking for smokables, then some 12 year olds asking the old man if he had seen an iPhone 4s that they had lost.

These photos were taken after sun down, and it was progressively getting darker. ISO was ramped up, and shutter speed was low.

My favourite self portrait ever. Using natural light source of the sun, the f1.4 sigma 30mm, and of course the D7000, I managed to capture this. Using a Trial of Camera Control Pro 2 by Nikon, and using the liveview function I was able to see myself, and therefore was able to gauge focus levels, and facial expression.

These damn creatures seem to be replicating.A Rose between two thorns...No, a thorn between two thorns.

Thankyou for viewing my little midweek update.

See you next time.

Update Time.

Ok, I've been working hard on the coming project, and havn't had much chance to take alot of photos, but I would like to show you that the camera hasn't left my hand.

Oh, also I would like to tell you all again that....I HAVE MY D7000!

So the following photos are a combination of D80, and D7000 photos. Just as an update to what I've been doing.

Me and a Friend went for a hunt for a Peacock, and came across this beauty after failing to find it and sulkingly walking back to the car.

During the Hunt for the Peacock, we found Mr. Blobby, now we know where he has know...Kickin' it with the Indians.

This is Jay, he is who I went hunting with.

This is Nick, he is who I repair most of my belongings with.

This is a Ferrari, Check out Prometheora Media for a video to hear its exhaust note.

This is James, he is Triumphant over the fact we managed to get Nancy to ride a bike.

I went to Gatwick to a motorcycle shop, and had to stop to get a few of the planes.

Some friends and I ventured to the beach one evening. We saw some dead things, and It gave me ideas for awesome beach sunset backed portraits.

During a pub visit, I noticed so scary clouds.

This is my friend Charlotte, being ever so rude. I am trying to convince her to do a photoshoot with me.

On 7th June, it was my birthday, and this cake was lovingly made by Sarah, who I did the Abandoned Warehouse photoshoot with.

Thank you for returning once again, see you soon :)
