The Early Bird...[Part2]

This is round two of the Brighton morning. I feel these have a moodier feel in places.

There were a few within this bunch that looked fine on the LCD only did I discover the lack of decent focus when I got back, which is a bummer.

So here for you now, the remaining photos from my Brighton trip.

This Bird would not sit still, tracking it was a right pain.

Part 2 complete. This whole photography thing is getting rather intense and fun. I must put my thinking cap on and get some ideas of what to shoot next.

Any ideas? Put 'em in the comments below.

Thanks,

Craig.

The Early Bird...[Part1]

It's a saturday, and I woke up at 0600 to go photographing, I must be mad for this hobby!

This morning, I took a young photographer friend down to Brighton to catch the sunrise. Upon arrival cloud covered the exact place where the sun was to rise. But after a few minutes the sun rose above the cloud and left us with a beautiful golden morning on the beach.

I am really pleased with a few of these shots, but some I am mad at myself for my focus points.

Without further ado, my morning adventure down the coast.

Who the girl in the duvet is, I will never know but she added a certain element to this early morning shot.

That is the end of Part One of my Brighton shoot. Part Two will follow soon.

I really enjoyed taking these, I hope you enjoyed viewing them.

Within The Ring...

An evening of Killing two birds with one stone came and went. But the memories shall live on, in photographic form of course.

The first time I have seen my friend in well over a year seemed to carry the perfect excuse to take some photos of the M25/A21/M26 Junctions, and after making it inside the M25, I found the ominous glow of light pollution from our Nations Capital.

These were shot with a variety of different lenses, but no filters this time. I used a Gorillapod to secure the camera to bridges, goal posts, and poles for these shots.

The Silhouetted tree is my favourite, although I must clean my sensor.

Please let me know what you think.

Filtering out the evil..

Today I went to Goudhurst to visit some friends, and to take some pictures. I wanted to try out a couple of the filters in my collection. One being the variable neutral density filter, and the other being a circular polariser. I used both of the filters at the same time on the same lens, the 30mm f1.4 Sigma.

I know some of you won't have noticed, but I sincerely apologise for not cleaning my lens/filter/potentially my sensor before shooting.

I will be using this filter combination alot more I think as I am really pleased with the results.

Many thanks for looking.

Wet My Whistle.

I just remembered whilst some photographical sorting that I had a couple of pictures I wanted to share with you.

I like the concept of strobing through drink, I might try and further it.
