Last night was my friend Nick's first solo gig. I was there, DSLR in
hand to make him feel more special on the receiving end of the camera.
He played a lovely acoustic set, and captured the heart of the audience.
This concludes my set of Nick.
Until Next time my lovers, until next time..

Lightroom
I've just downloaded a trial of Adobe Lightroom.
First impressions;
I'm absolutely amazed at the information a camera picks up, but due to settings used are usually unable to see. Just quickly tinkering with a snow photos I took a few years back, back when I was starting out, and just trying to get the focus right. I've altered the light levels, and the sky looked amazing that day.
This program will change the way my photos are viewed.
For the most part I will still be showing you what me and the camera see, but I might need to adapt some blown out photos for example.

Ewe need me to stop being so sheepish?
I hope you are having a GOOD FRIDAY. First day off in what feels like forever, so what do I do, wake up at sunrise to go photograph sheep...I may need my head examining...
I tried to find a new sheep location, as on my way home last night I saw some in a field along the byway which I frequent. They weren't at the right end of the field. Back to my location from the other day it was then.

The following images may make you go 'Awwwwwww'
--
Not an amazing focus on this one but the fragile delicate nature of this little lamb made me upload him.
This fellow came out very well I feel.
This last one is a tribute to my late Gramps.
Mr Douglas William Matthews passed away when I wasn't even 3 years old, but I still remember sitting on his lap, and remember the funeral after party I guess it's called. For ages afterwards, I was convinced he was still with us, and was living at the house we went to at this party. The naivety of children will never cease to inspire me.
Thank you all for viewing.
It was a tiring cold emotional morning, but I feel like I have caught the essence of nature in this set.

The Sheep are in Grave Danger...
It's not every morning that you drive by a church yard and see a herd of sheep grazing amongst the graves. This occured yesterday morning, but alas I didn't have the D80 with me at the time.
This morning I had hoped that they would be there. I arrived, and to my joy they were.

The following images may make you go 'Awwwwww'
Sorry for the bumshot, they weren't facing a friendly direction, but I had to take advantage of this situation.
This guy was such a poser. Loud too, he kept trying to talk to me.
These following ones I think are my favourite.
Thank you again for looking, I hope you like these because I am so happy with these shots.
I am quite liking this nature photography, there may be more in the future...

Moody Moon
An attempt at Star trails was soon thwarted by the damned clouds. So I changed my plans and took some moody moon shots instead.
Some moon shots with more feeling.
I hope you enjoyed these.
Craig.
